Russia is using phosphorous bombs on Azovstal. You can see it looks like fire raining down on the factory. That is because every single piece of phosphorous in the bomb ignites when it makes contact with oxygen in the air. If one of these pieces lodges into the body, it will continue to burn deep into the body as it comes into contact with the oxygenated tissue. The smoke that comes from this reaction is suffocating, anyone stuck in it needs to get to fresh air immediately. These weapons are supposed to be used to provide cover for forces, as a literal smoke screen. Russia is clearly using it as a chemical weapon here.
