This is a size comparison to demonstrate how large the area Russia occupies in Ukraine actually is. The same area is outlined in all these images, just superimposed on other countries in Europe using Google maps. Of note, Italy and Germany were specifically included after their comments of Ukraine should just let Russia have these occupied territories. Hopefully this serves to show how ridiculous that suggestion is, especially since we know Italy and Germany wouldn't be willing to give up so much of their own countries
